Crawford received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Johns Hopkins University. He received his Master of Arts from The University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He then received his Juris Doctorate from The University of Baltimore. He is licensed to practice law in Maryland and Virginia. He is certified through the Virginia Supreme Court to serve as a Guardian ad litem for Adults and Children. For adults, as a Guardian ad litem, he is called upon to represent disabled adults in court proceeding to protect their personal and financial interests. In June 2007, Crawford earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the CFP Board of Standards. The CFP® designation requires completion of a 10 hour exam and extensive industry experience. He is active within the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), a professional organization for financial planners who exclusively work on a fee-only basis. In recognition of client-first business practices, he has received a Letter of Endorsement from Matthew Hutcheson, a congressional expert on 401k reform and fiduciary practices. Crawford has written extensively in such publications as The Blue Ridge Business Journal and Financial Advisor. Crawford lives with his wife and three children in Forest, Virginia. In 2005, he and his wife relocated to Forest from a suburb of Baltimore for the benefit of raising their children in this wonderful community. For fun, Crawford plays soccer, coaches youth soccer, fishes and reads. |
